PayPal Buttons

Wherever I am selling anything on my website there is a PayPal "Buy Now" button. If you wish to purchase that item, clicking on the button will take you to an external PayPal site page where you will be able to securely complete the transaction.

Do You Have a Credit Card But No PayPal Account?

Some people are unaware that you don't need a PayPal account to use the PayPal buttons. You can also use your normal credit card or debit card. After clicking on the PayPal "Buy Now" button, simply fill in your details under the "Pay with a debit or credit card, or PayPal Credit" heading and you can process your transaction - more safely and securely even than if you were in a bricks-and-mortar store.
If you don't have this option on your browser and Paypal insists that you must sign in, then there is a cookie on your browser that tells Paypal that you do have an account. Perhaps someone else who used your browser? Or perhaps you closed your Paypal account? In any event, you can get around this either by using your browser's "privacy mode", or by clearing your browser's cache of all cookies.

Direct Bank Deposit Options

There are people who, for various reasons, don't wish to use either PayPal or a credit card to make payments. In these situation I have an American bank account into which I can receive funds. Please do contact me directly if you'd like to make use of this option.

For South Africans, I do also have a South African bank account into which I can receive EFT payments. Please contact me for my banking details.

Failing that it is also possible (though a little laborious) to use Western Union and other similar services to transfer funds to me. Again, please contact me to make arrangements.

Non-Standard Payments and Donations

It happens from time to time that people wish to make a non-standard payment. Perhaps for a bulk order of books, for example. And I am also sometimes graced by people wishing to make a donation, as a pure gift, to support what I do. To facilitate this I offer the following two PayPal buttons. Clicking on either of these will take you to an external PayPal site page where you can specify your own payment amount. The first button is for non-standard purchases and the second for donations (with my sincere gratitude!)
